At BuzzTrivia Party, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Android application BuzzTrivia Party (the “App”).
We and our service providers may collect information needed to run multiplayer games, show advertising, understand usage, and keep the App secure. Depending on how you use the App and your device settings, this may include:
We do not use the App to collect your legal name, postal address, or phone number. If you contact us by email, we will receive whatever information you choose to send.
We use the information described above to:
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob and related partners. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies within their SDKs, and may collect or receive information from the App and your device to show ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
Where required (for example, in the EEA/UK and other regions), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent / privacy message before requesting ads. You may also open privacy options from the App when those options are required for your region. On Android, you can additionally limit ad personalization in your device’s Google settings (for example, under Ads or Privacy settings, depending on your device and Android version).
Google is one of our advertising and technology partners for this App. For more about how Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps, see Google’s Privacy & Terms (partner sites and apps). You can also review Google’s information about ads in mobile apps and adjust ad personalization where Google offers controls.
We use Google Firebase and related Google services to operate the App, including:
These services process technical, usage, and game data as described in Google’s documentation and privacy notices, including Firebase’s Privacy and Security information and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Category paths and trivia questions may be generated on our servers using Google generative AI services (for example, Gemini via Firebase / Google Cloud). Prompts typically include game context such as category and locale. We do not intentionally send your real-world identity (such as email or phone number) in those prompts. Generated content may be stored to power gameplay and quality controls (for example, reports about bad questions).
The App does not request access to your microphone, contacts, or precise location for these features.
Playing uses an anonymous Firebase account. Clearing the App’s data or reinstalling the App typically creates a new anonymous UID. If you want us to delete cloud game data associated with a specific UID or room where reasonably possible, contact us at the email below and include enough detail for us to locate the data (for example, a room code and approximate time). Abandoned lobby rooms and certain unused category data are cleaned up automatically on a schedule; other game data may be retained as needed to operate and improve the App.
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the App (for example, Google for Firebase, analytics, advertising, App Check, Cast, and AI generation). Display names, avatars, and in-room game activity are visible to other players in the same room. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction (such as a merger) subject to applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Where “sale” or “sharing” has specific meanings under privacy laws (for example, certain California definitions), we describe our practices here and honor applicable rights as required.
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. For example, abandoned lobby rooms may be deleted on a scheduled basis, and unused category content may expire after a period of inactivity. Analytics and advertising partners may retain technical data according to their own settings and policies.
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information handled in connection with the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that violates applicable child privacy laws. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
When you download, install, or update the App through Google Play, Google may process information in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. That processing is governed by Google, not this policy.
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those where you live.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date below.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, or to request deletion of cloud data where reasonably possible, please contact us at crsantiagoalva@gmail.com.
